Nature of the Service

This is a private reference service with no connection to a government office. It does not store official custody or court records, confirm a custody status, release anyone, or submit documents for a visitor.

It directs visitors toward Lamar County inmate and jail-record resources and may connect them with third-party research tools. Official record holders remain responsible for their own information.

Acceptable Use

Use the site lawfully and with respect for others and for the systems that make it available.

• Do not use the site in violation of any law.
• Do not use information to stalk, harass, threaten, or harm another person.
• Do not use site information for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or other restricted decision-making.

FCRA-Prohibited Uses

Lamar County Busted Mugshots is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not provide background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports, and neither the site nor its advertising partners offers screening services. You agree not to use any information from the site for an FCRA-regulated purpose, including the following.

• Hiring, firing, or employment decisions
• Tenant or housing screening
• Creditworthiness decisions or insurance premiums
• Licensing, permits, or government-program eligibility
• Any other use governed by the FCRA

Links and External Services

The site may link to jail resources, booking sources, sheriff or corrections pages, government portals, legal-aid materials, and outside search services. We do not control their content, data handling, availability, or terms. Review the terms and notices that apply to every outside service.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise the following.

• Accuracy, completeness, or current status of information
• Continuous or uninterrupted availability
• Freedom from every error, bug, or security issue
• Completeness of a partner’s search results

Custody and public records can change without notice. Nothing on this site is an official statement from a sheriff’s office or another government agency.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lamar County Busted Mugshots is not liable for damages arising from access to, use of, or inability to use the site.

Indemnification
